Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how information about users is gathered, used and shared by Astari LTD (“we” or “us”) and related entities, when they use our wallet services (Bitfinity Wallet) or when they otherwise interact with us (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Email).

Bitfinity Wallet is a crypto wallet browser extension and authentication provider for Internet Computer users and developers.

When using the Bitfinity Wallet, the only information we collect from users is their blockchain wallet address, completed transaction hashes, and the token names, symbols, or other blockchain identifiers of the tokens that they currently hold. We do not in any way collect, process, use or request personally identifiable information from our users.

Please be aware that when using the Bitfinity Wallet, users are interacting with the Internet Computer blockchain, which provides transparency into users’ transactions. Hence, we take no control or responsibility for any information a user makes public on the Internet Computer, by taking actions through the Bitfinity Wallet.

The Bitfinity Wallet does not request a user’s personal information, nor require it to function. Thus it is the user’s responsibility to control, decide and manage what personal information they will share when interfacing with the Internet Computer, through Bitfinity Wallet.

Users should be aware that when interacting with us on our communication channels (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Email), we do not control how these third-party service providers manage a user’s data. Users are encouraged to review these third-party services’ privacy policies, in order to understand how their personal information may be collected, used and shared.

Bitfinity Wallet & Personal

In summary, Bitfinity Wallet does not:

  1. Require, collect, process, use or disclose a user’s personal information.
  2. Have access to personal information of any type.
  3. Share or sell a user’s personal information.

Bitfinity Wallet utilises an analytics provider called Plausible.io Analytics, on its website. This analytics provider is privacy-orientated and does not use cookies to provide basic website usage. Any information that is shared by this provider is anonymous, non-user identifiable, and basic (i.e. anonymous visit analytics such as traffic, sources, device type, geography).

Changes to our Privacy Policy

In the event we make changes to our Privacy Policy, this page will be updated and will reflect the most recent version of our policy. In some cases, we may notify users of any changes that have occurred via our Twitter, Medium, Discord and/or Telegram.

If new features are added, such that they generate a point of data processing (e.g. forum, newsletter etc…), users will be informed on this page of the specific point of entry. Currently, none such features exist.

We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access our services, in order to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
